Try Deer Run in Schaghticoke, it's about 1/2 hr from Saratoga Springs. We were there for a iRV2 Nor'easters rally a few years ago, nice place, our kids loved it, of course it is more a destination resort than an overnight.

If you just want a place to stop overnight and don't need utilities there's a thruway plaza a little east of where I88 joins that may be convenient.

You didn't say when you were planning to arrive. You no doubt are aware that lots of North country Camp Grounds close some time in Oct.
Just a thought.
