Safe reset

Had to replace batteries. No documentation in owners manual box. How do I reset the code?

Locate reset button on back of door

Press the reset button with a pen and then release. You will hear a beep

DO NOT SHUT THE DOOR YET

With door open, enter your code, between 3-8digits long, and confirm by pressing √ within 3seconds. There will be 2 beeps if sound is turned on and the green light will flash twice

Before closing the door, enter your new code and press √ to verify the lock releases the knob so you can turn it and retract the locking bolts

Can't find the model we have. Called Stack-on. No joy with them either. Think the safe is just broken.

Dutch Star David;
You should have a key to the safe

somewhere in with the manuals.
Put the key in and turn,then push the

reset button etc.

There are videos on YouTube that show how to open the safe using a paper clip. I am not kidding.

A quick search turned up a couple of YouTube videos of people opening Stack-On "safes" with a paper clip. Master padlocks too!

After seeing those videos, I wouldn't consider one of the Stack-On or similar "safes" to be very safe!
