We are Newmar owners in waiting, a 2016 MADP 4553. After spending time on this forum, evaluating alternatives brands, visiting many dealers and visiting Nappanee we have done a custom order with factory pickup thru Midway RV. With the big decisions made, now focusing on details. I had a Safe-T-Plus installed on our Tiffin Phaeton. I did it based on the belief it could provide an advantage in the case of a front tire blow out. Fortunately never had the need to test it!

Does Newmar Comfort Drive serve that purpose or is there still a potential advantage with Safe-T-Plus in the case of a front tire blow out?

Will have more questions but will do one at a time.

We are very excited about the next leg of our RV adventure.

I had Safe-T-Plus on my previous gasser which I felt helped in the handling department. Never had a front tire blowout, but that was the primary reason why I purchased it.

Welcome to the forum, Comfort Drive is always looking for center in steering, steer safe would not be needed.
