Ok I did my homework and now have Newmar specific questions. On the DS with pump in place does the hose still go out the bottom with the bay door closed ? Do you hook it up to the campground and leave it for your stay like the slinky? When putting the hose away do you just coil it up in the wet bay? Thank you in advance for your patience.

Pretty sure I could get it through the hole on the bottom but haven’t tried. I don’t believe I will leave it hanging out like I did the slinky. Yes it just lays there in the wet bay. It’s so easy to take it to the sewer hole plug it in and pump it away. Without that slinky the setup looks much cleaner. You’d never think of hooking up the slinky every time you dump but with this it’s a piece if cake. I’ll let you know a month from now. I do like the cleaner look and definitely like the cleaner operation.

Thanks Bill, I have always hooked the slinky up and opened the gray valve so showers and washing dishes were never a worry. This would be a change of thinking for me, I really do like the clean aspects and it would make it easier for me to dump while parked in my garage. Looks like another call to my dealer today.[emoji51]this forum has cost me a lot of money

It is a Grand. On the other hand if you don’t like it you don’t have to use it. Completely optional. I’d rather have the option. I see others here who would love to buy it from you since it’s not available outside of a Newmar purchase. I did speak with the Thetford people and it’s a new system even to them.
I used to leave the Grey open too but then you need to hookup the rinse instead of just letting the Grey do it for you after dumping the black. It’s a new way of doing things, that’s all.

Thats why you can't find it for sale. the cost is nuts. I love the simplicity, thats why I started searching for it. The 600 and having it on demand just grab, dump and go without hooking stuff up looked sweet. but for a grand I think there are better options. I wonder if I can buy the flex hose and the dump end adapter alone? Thats the part I really liked. Then I can set up a system using my own pump thats not insanely overpriced.

I'm sure you can fabricate a less expensive option but remember to get the poop through that little hose, you'll need some type of macerator.

I always left the grey valve closed to use it to wash out the black anyway, so no big deal to me. The only time I would open the grey and left it open was during a wash machine cycle. I asked Thetford customer service and the grey will not drain through the pump. So for stays of over 3 days I will use the slinky hose, but for the one or two night stands, the sanicon is great.

I know this thread is pretty old but I figured i'd post a reply as someone with a Sani-Con Turbo 600 installed. The unit does have a grey water bypass, it is integrated into the pump and works flawlessly and doesnt have an external hose (probably why it works so well). They are for sale online. I did a youtube video search and found folks who installed them and also sell them. Also the price is around 350 with free shipping.

Sanicon 600
I also have no problem with the performance of my 600, the hole issue of this thread was the incorrect (upside down) mounting of the pump causing the hose to retain fluid. Most of us have correct that issue. $350 is an excellent price as the hose alone is $80

Here's another little tidbit...…. if both your toilets are macerator toilets, the SaniCon will also allow the black tank water to bypass, without running the SaniCon. I added wiring to my half bath that let's me turn on the SaniCon and open the black tank valve. On my last trip, I just opened the black tank drain to see what would happen. The tank drained in a few minutes without running the SaniCon.
