I don’t have a ton of experience with this , but when I used it for the first time it started and stopped then stated again so I called Newmar who got me on the phone with thetford. They told me it was designed to do that to avoid overheating. Just remembered that. Short memory. Plus the DW felt the pump and motor and it was warm, not hot.

Pumping the grey seemed to stop a lot. I wonder what other turbo 600 users have experienced?

I dumped my entire 78% grey in the new aire without a single pause. What happens in your video doesn’t seem normal.

I’ve dumped a 100% Grey tank in 90 seconds, but not through a garden hose. The time involved is the difference.

Should have mentioned that it was through 50' of garden hose, slightly uphill. Took several (didn't time it) minutes. I'll time it next time.

😂 It jumped! Thankfully, I had already dumped the black and gray tanks. Finished doing the sewer rinse and was dumping the black tank again when holy sheeeeit, it jumped spraying ... oh for the love.... I know I’m a newbie, but really, must I experience EVERYTHING in the first month. 😂

Interesting, it’s never jumped for me. So it didn’t jump until you were on the third operation? I wonder what was different?

In any case, I confirmed with Thetford that the starting and stopping isn’t normal and will have a service center check it out. In normal operation ( without a garden hose ) it seems to work just fine.

It was the first time it jumped for me to. I really do like the sanicon system though; however, I will weigh the handle down in the future...just in case. [emoji14]

I have had 4 RVs and all had a Sanicon system. I have used the 4 incher a number of times but love the ease that Sanicon gives me. Much cleaner and enables me to add a hole for long or uphill runs.

Could be like a garden hose when there's air in the line. It'll jump until the air is cleared but then the water flows without too much acrobatics. Maybe as the tanks emptied, it got some air in the hose? Just a guess.

I used the system for the first time this weekend and it worked like a dream my only compliant was the hose is to short... I'm going to order a longer hose to add onto it... My pump never hesitated for a second in less then 3min both tanks were empty from 75% full....No muss no fuss...

We were going to order and I thought Sanicon would be a waste of $$. Then we lucked out and found our Dutch Star at NIRVC. Some one had ordered and for some reason or another had to cancel. This one had the Sanicon, so rather than wait for several months , we bought it. Sure am glad it worked out this way because, the first time I dumped with the Sanicon, I loved it. You have to decide if it's worth the $$ to you, but My 2cents is get it.
