We full time and use Costco brand also. No problem at all. Never bought RV TP and at this stage never will. Key is proper flushing of tank. Only flush when full and then flush with clean water till you see clear and no solids through clear section of drain pipe.

Take care

Scotts 1000 for us to. We use the it in the house and the RV. I've never used RV TP in 40 years of RVing and never had an issue.

Just make sure its at least 3/4 full when you dump thats the KEY !!
And use whatever regular toilet paper you want i have been doing it this way for over 25 years and never had a problem sensor always work accurate ( and we are not shy with the paper use )

But is the emacerator system strong enough to handle heavier toilet paper?

Personally, I use Camco RV & Marine TP which dissolves quickly. Yes, it is a bit more expensive than the big-box store bargain brand stuff, but how much TP do you really use? I'd guess the additional cost per year is no more than $20. Try to get your waste valve cleaned out for that!
X2....it always cracks me up when threads like this come up, We will spend $100,000's on a MH, $1000's on fuel each year, $1000's on CG fees each year, add in Insurance and registration....and then we are going to worry about an extra $20-$40 per year on the right toilet paper/chemicals to use. Maybe it will never make a difference but if/when it does, then people will complain that the RV shop charged them xxx amount of dollars to clear the clog, or for parts.
