Seeking Generator and Oasis Exhaust Tip

The chrome exhaust tip on my generator and the Oasis exhaust have rust spots. I replaced the generator tip with a Newmar replacement and, it too, has rusted. Does anyone know of source of a better exhaust tip. Possibly stainless steel. Amazon searches result in much larger exhaust tips for autos.

Thanks,

Rex

Ha. Funny. DS Don have been talking about this for a few weeks. Mine fell off on a trip and Newmar sent me a new one, which seems like stainless? Haven’t mounted it yet.

At any rate, Don advised me to consider if I’d ever need a GenTuri system in the future. This was the key factor in his selection of tip, since he removes it to slide the GenTuri fitting on.

I found a bunch of correct tips all over the internet by using Generator Exhaust Tip. You can further the selection by 1.25”, as I recall.

I also saw some on CampingWorld.com

Summit Racing has a good selection of different exhaust tips from 1 1/4 up to 5 inches. Have found on our Newmar's that we have pop riveted with 3/16 rivets all 3 exhaust tips because we have lost some over our travels.

Doesn't it work better with a 4" diameter chrome tip? Seems to work for Diesel pickups!

I purchased a Gibson 500415 from Amazon. It fits a 1 1/2 inch exhaust pipe on my Onan QD7500 generator. It is a snug fit but you will never have to worry about it coming off. It is polished stainless steel. I have had it on for three years and it still looks like new.

Correction: I got a more accurate measurement and found:

Generator: 1 1/2 inch

Oasis: 2 inch

It looks like Summit Racing has some good options.

Thanks

CORRECTION: I just measured the brand new tip sent from Newmar, and it's 1.625" aka 1 5/8" I.D.

The link was to the second page of a thread that starts with a post by Pan JH.

Here is a copy of my post. Both links are to Ebay SS pencil tip exhaust tips.

This is the one I purchased for the generator.....$20.00

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Stainless-S...nUAAOSwkNZUquy O:rk:6f:0

This is the one I ordered for the Oasis exhaust. It hasn't arrived yet, so I don't know how well it should fit, but should be a direct connect...…$18.00

Generator Exhaust Tip

Cummins sells the generator tips also. Bought my replacement at Elkhart while at Nappanee. Can't recall the price but can be ordered through Cummins dealers elsewhere.
