Seeking help from Fulltiming 43ft Dutch Star Owners

Seeking help in setting up our rig for the Valor Tire Pressure Monitoring System that now comes with the 2020 DS's. Had the units strapped to our toad's rims last week. Don Rigby the Valor RV Rep is going to meet us during factory pickup next week to help with the setup of our toad, etc.

I don't know what the tire pressures should be set at for the alarm warning to be activated. Are their any 2017+ 43 ft DS owners who are full timing and have loaded and weighed their rigs willing to share their tire pressures? I could greatly use this info to help determine what the initial setting should be.

Once our rig is fully loaded, we'll weigh it for our correct setting. We just became Escapees members and could use their individual tire weighing system.

Thanks in advance for any help

You will need to get your coach weight after you have your stuff loaded.
This link will give some pressures until than.
This link has information for your new coach plus how to figure your tire pressures. --- PDI LIST --- Owners Guide

Not a full timer, more like a half timer when we winter in Palm Springs!

Weighed our 2020 DS4369 with full water and full fuel and about ¾ of our usual gear. Our Cat scale weight tag shows the trailer axle (really the tag axle) at 14,540 lbs, but that included our toad at which weighs in at 4,890 lbs, leaving the tag axle at 9,650 lbs. Seems to me that the tag is carrying too much weight and making the front too close to max.

Using the Michelin tire chart I am running the front at 115psi and the drive and tag axles at 85psi.

We are full timers. DSDP 4369

I'll give you the wheel weights from the factory and then from HWH after we had Active Air installed. The HWH weights are fully loaded weights. HWH also had the rig weighted at a Pilot CAT scale to verify their weights. After the CAT scale weights I had them reduce the Tag weight which reduce the front weight by 200 lbs and increased the drive axle by 800 lbs

Factory
Steer 8055
Steer Right 7935

Drive Left 8230
Drive Right 7545

Tag Left 4270
Tag Right 4315

Final HWH (this is loaded)

Steer Left. 9180
Steer Right 9080

Drive Left 8700
Drive Right 7740

Tag left 4800
Tag Right 4840

Note, the HWH system changes the ride height sensors. FL has 2 in the front and one in the rear. HWH uses two in the rear and one in the front.

What pressure do the fronts get to when driving? What is the temperature at the peak pressure?

Thanks

Again, great info!
Seems like everyone who posted runs 85 in the rears and 112-115 in the front.
So, looks like I should go with 85 in the rears which looks like the minimum recommended pressure for the XZA tires (gained from info via 007's post above) and 115 in the front. So do I have Don from Valor set the alarms for 5 lbs less or 3 lbs or ? lbs less than the above pressures?
Wish I thought to ask this in my original post.... Will also discuss this with Don/Valor when he helps set us up at the factory next week.

My TPMS (not Valor) suggests 10%. This will prevent false alarms if you are in very cold weather when starting out in the am.

Our system recommends margin of 20% high and low for lbs and temp.
