Selling a Newmar through "VSSRV"

Has anyone ever had an experience with "VSSRV" and selling your coach?
Or do you know of anyone that has used them?
Good or bad experience?

They do financing, & there is no cost to the seller...but they do charge a $499 fee for listing through E-Bay!
Any expense beyond that is bourne by the purchaser.

I emailed them from an "ad" I saw somewhere on the internet, & received a phone call this morning about listing with them.

Seems to be upfront...until the part of paying for the E-Bay ad up front!

What are the experience & opinion of the Newmar "guru's" on here!

Thanks!

Have not had experience with VSSRV. Depending on where you are and how much pain you want to endure, Craigslist is a good option. Also don't overlook the iRV2 classifieds. We got serious responses from both but sold through Craigslist. Luckily we found a buyer who didn't need a loan so we didn't have to figure that out. We were also fortunate to not receive any fake craigslist offers. The person who bought it came up one day to look at it and made a deal right then, gave us a cash deposit.

Here's an interesting article that does not mention VSSRV but sounds a lot like them.

eBay charges $125 for the listing IF IT SELLS. This outfit is charging $500 whether it sells or not. Beside financing -- which benefits them enormously, what do they offer for the $500 that you couldn't do for yourself? Who does the photo shoot? Who writes the prose? Who shows the rig? Who provides the test drive insurance? How does the close happen? What "other fees" does the buyer pay?

The upfront $499 fee would be a deal-breaker for me! I don't see a $499 value in what they provide.

THANKS to each of you for the replies!

He called back...told him that I would not pay any E-Bay or other upfront fees, that if he could sell it, then deduct the fees!
He started singing a different song!

Long & Short....not listing with them!

They may be "legit".....I don't know....and I'm not going to find out!

As the saying was on TV....."NO DEAL"!

If it doesn't sell.....DW & I can alternate travel in the two coaches!
