Question Selling a RV

Help - Where is the place place to start selling a RV and tow car. We have a 2005 Dutchstar 3810 and 2002 Saturn SL2 tow car. One owner, no smoking, no pets. Selling due to age. Thanks for any help

Here is one option you might want to look at.

RVTrader.com. RVT.com
iRV2.com Craigslist all have +&-
They are also good to see what others are asking for similar units.

When I placed my 2017 for sale I used RVT and RVtrader. I got twice as many views from RVtrader. Hope that helps.

Sold my Previous Coach on RV Trader. Key is to price it competitively, stage the interior, and have a lot of good photos.

We have heard a lot of good things about PPL Motorhomes which sells on consignment. Don't know if that is an option given how far they may be from you but they will sell your coach quickly at a fair price and you don't have to do anything except get it to Texas. As others have mentioned, RV Trader, etc. are good advertising tools. If you are an Escapee (or join for a nominal cost), Newmars seem to sell quickly on their site: RVs, Tows, and Toads for Sale - Escapees Discussion Forum

I completely agree with this. We have sold our 2015, 2016 and 2017 Dutch Stars using both of these websites. RVTrader has always had (many) more views. But it only takes that one view from the "right" viewer. When you're selling something this expensive what's the extra couple hundred dollars to maximize your exposure! Use both sites. You won't go wrong.

Agreed, use both and Craigslist.

Thanks everyone for your advice. RVT.com seemed to have more hits than Craigslist. It ended up being sold to a friend of a friend. We are purchasing a used 5th wheel so will probably end up on the Thor site. You all have been the best.
