The sting lights that are in my service panel (where the A/C control, tank monitor, exterior light swithches are) are now down to one light. Does anyone know how to replace these lights?

I measured what size i needed to replace mine and bought the light set on ebay and the new ones are really bright white. i just used the mounting clips that the old one was mounted in and just a dab of clear silicone where needed. look on ebay for led light sets or led string light. hope this helps you out.....

I gave up on that incandescent, always burning out, exceedingly poor light in your face (but oh so stylish) bar light long ago.....

Modernize - You can find LED tape lights at Advance Auto type stores for about $15. They come in pre-cut to 14odd inch lengths and of course 12VDC. Pure white or colors. Self-stick on one side stick it on the door facing the panel. I added a small piece of wood molding to the door to make the angle of lighting more direct towards the panel - and not in your eyes! This will never burn out and takes practically no juice. I can now have no guilt in leaving that door open whenever I want... The camera flash sort of washes out the LEDs in the pic...
