Setting up the Magnum remote 2019 DSDP

Just trying to set up the Magnum Remote on my new coach. No book was supplies so I'm doing it by feel. Can anyone provide the correct settings for the AGM batteries in the 2019 DSDP 4369. Also, I'm reading 50 amps yet we are plugged into 30 amps. What gives?

Newmar sets it all up to match your battery type.
You can also download the manual on the magnum site. Your PCI controller should be indicating 30 amps.

I think Magnum has all of the user manuals online, if that is what you are looking for.

Agm2 is what you should set. 30 amp is the maximum the charger can support.

Then you want to set the final stage to multi stage.

What should be the low voltage to start the gen? I was told by the dealer 11.9volts.

I dont think there is a trustworthy low voltage number. The reason is that starting your microwave will cause voltage to drop to 11.0 or below for a while. A battery under load cannot be measured. It must be at rest and proper temp before it can be measured.

The only safe way is to install a BMK. I have documented the installation. The bmk is a fuel gauge type indicator for your batteries. It is the only accurate way to know your battery usage and remaining life.
