Sewer hookup in 2016 ventana

Having some issues with sewer connection. hose is hard to get through hole and connect. Do know the connection does move down but still hard. We tried to put a clear 90 elbow but it seems to backup. No backups with just sewer hose. Any ideas or suggestions from others would be appreciated. thanks

I use a 90 without issues. I think 45's are available if that helps.

90 degree elbow works fine for me too. You could always connect the hose directly and leave the bay door open if the elbow doesn't work.

On the back up. We were having a little problem with getting about an inch of "water" in our elbow after closing up and going down the road. Discovered that if the connecter is tilted up at all there is an area that does not drain. Make sure you have a downward tilt (the elbow with hose attached presss against the inside portion of hole) while dumping. Hope this helps.

I think there are different lengths of elbows. Newmar sells one in their parts department the works perfect so you might want to check with them.

I also use a clear elbo. It is not a 90 I think it was a 60. I tried several before I got a good fit.

Some work better with a 90 and some work better with a 45. Mine works better swiveled down and with a 45.
