sewer smell Aqua/hydro hot system

Pls help me to troubleshoot my DSDP sewer smell everytime I open the faucet hot or cold side. I almost used the full tank of water and still getting bubbles with a taste of antifreeze/plumbing chemical. Do I miss something in dewinterizing? I'm familiar in dewinterizing a regular system with a water heater tank but not this new aqua hot/hydro hot system. If I need disinfecting the water system, is it the same procedure with the regular system? Tnx in advance.

You are probably right that your water system needs to be sanitized.
I don't know what the procedure is with "aqua hot/hydro hot system" but someone is sure to post that info, (or a link to it).
Good luck.

The Aqua Hot / Hydro hot systems use heat exchangers. The domestic water flows around the exchanger piping to get heated. They do have an antifreeze type fluid inside the heat exchanger but there should be no way for the two to mix unless its defective ? Sounds like its more a problem with the water tank / piping needing more flushing ?

britcon is absolutely right. If the Aqua Hot was leaking you'd have antifreeze dripping somewhere, but not into the water line. I'm sorry I can't give you any advice on flushing out your water system, I've never winterized mine.
