Shower Head replacement- Ecocamel
Just figured I share..... there have been other post concerning replacements better then the stock showerhead. I saw this in MH mag and decided to try it.
The little women was the one who always complained..... me , I have very little hair on my head.
I did a water volume test before replacing. The new head (Ecocamel) used a tad more water in my 30 sec. test, less than a ounce.
The big test would be the little women..... She loved it, Pressure was a lot better from here standpoint.

Nice to see some competition in the shower head market for RVs.
Thanks for posting.

Their web site implied it was made in Europe for flats that have low/poor water pressure. It mixes air to increase the water pressure. There is a German manufacturer who has something similar.
The valve / cut off switch looks to be a recommendation from MH magazine to allow RVers who use or need to save water.

Excellent. Thanks for posting.
I need to order one and try it out. RVs, water and showers are a tough combination to optimize.

We bought one about a month ago for our mh after reading about it on the FMCA forum. I must say, it is one of the best showerheads that we've had in any rv owned, past or present. We purchased an Oxygenics in the past and while it to is nice, this new style is better IMHO. They have (2) different models that can be purchased for use in either your rv or s&b.

I have checked their ad and no where does it mention "flow rate" which is key if you have an Hydro or Aqua hot system. 1.5 GPM is the max. to get hot water.

Shower Head replacement- Ecocamel
In my experience, a shutoff valve with a turn lever rather than a push button is far easier to use in a shower. Buy metal, not plastic. Available at any hardware or plumbing supply.
I've used an Oxygenics head for a few years. It delivers a good shower spray even at low water pressures, but I may try this Ecocamel head.

Yes... I did purchase the Valve shut off. It is at the base of the head, between the hose and head. Works OK.

I just placed an order for the shower head & the shut off valve. I think the ease of stopping the water with one finger is just what I've been looking for when giving the fur baby a bath or helping the Grands. Thanks for posting this information.

I was very pleased when I removed the factory shower head and installed a low flow Oxygenics head. Have had it not for 3 years and still like it.

schools out, if you can please post results when you get the setup. I'm interested in how the shutoff valve works. I've tried several slide valves, and they tend to get very stiff under pressure. Thanks.

JFXG, I will report back after our next outing. (late July) I'm hoping this little valve will be an improvement over the clumsy operation of a 2 handled shower faucet combined with a hand-held shower.
