Side Marker Lens
As I was cleaning the front of the RV so we could go on 4 day club run I found this.
Having been thru a headlight replacement under warranty I didn't even think of calling Newmar as the part would been over priced and take a week to get to me assuming they can figure out where the lens came from. I just happen to know that the headlights and side markers are from a 98 - 02 Mercury Marquis. I did call Ford for the same reason I didn't call Newmar. I need this part the next day as we were leaving the following day. I stopped at my local O'Reilly's auto parts with the TYC # and I had the part the next morning for $43 tax including.
Here is the hole that Newmar makes for this side marker. The 2 small holes are a guide pin hole (top one) and the other is for a threaded stud. Plus there is one screw on the out side to hole to hold it in.

$43 for both lenses front & side? Are these lenses the same for MA 3778? What's a TYC#?
Sorry for all the questions, but I will need these soon

Speaking of side marker lights. What are the oblong white lights/lens on the sides of the coach? 2 on each side about 1/4 back of the front wheels and in front of the rear wheels? Are these docking lights? What turns them on. I have four of them but can't seem to get them to turn on. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The headlights and side markers are sold a individuality units.
IE - 2 headlights - 2 side markers
You model shouldn't make a difference.
TYC is an after market parts supplier. They make a good share of the after market head lights and side markers for most cars. So, if you look real close to the side marker or the headlight you will find a number that looks like this TYC xx-yyyy. You can use that number to find what car your head light or side marker came from. The search the internet for a replacement.

I don't have them on my coach... I would suspect they may come on when you use the turn signals to illuminate the road at night.

Here is my coach pic. There is one white oblong light close to each wheel, at about 2pm on a clock dial.l I know I have turning lights when the turn indicators are on, but I thought they were in the signal light housing itself. I guess these might be them. Looks like two would come on each time then.

Thanks oemtech..... learning something new each day... love it. Was the $43 just for the side marker?
Can anyone tell me how to sound the roof horns? I tried the dash "air horn" switch and the steering wheel horn and all I get is the chassis horn.

I have a 2006 DSDP and the Air Horn switch, switches the horn from Chassis horn to Air Horn. I've tested it, but never used it. I prefer to "talk" to the DA drivers. It drives the Co-Pilot crazy, but makes me feel better.

Yep, they are the docking lights! I forgot they were there. Tried them and they work just great. Thanks for the help.

Thanks. Ours has probably the same configuration. I'll check the wiring and fuses.
