Side radiator fan motor

I have a hydraulic leak on my fan motor, replacement cost is 800 plus labor is it feasible to rebuild, replace the seal?

fan gearbox

Are you sure it is a seal? Several people, me included, have a leak out of the gearbox vent.

"aden".....looking at your profile, yours is not related to the newer models that leak. I would look for a shop that does power steering and pump repair. Ask them if they can reseal the unit. It's just a seal, unless the shaft is bad. If they can, pull it and let them rebuild the unit.
