Opinions PLEASE:

On 08, 4502 Ex, we've noticed a foggy air bubble appearing to be sandwiched between inner and outer panes of glass in the driver side window (upper larger section). We think, but aren't sure, that this bubble, now about 5-6 inches in horizontal length and about 1 inch vertical width, is getting bigger.

Since warranty expires in August of this year (09), would you guys just let it go, OR, would ya have it replaced??? (We have appt. at Newmar in June). I'm a little worried that replacement might lead to leaks and I don't want to be "nit picky," but as this'll be our home for some time to come, I want to get things fixed that should be fixed before warranty runs out. THANKS.

Steve

Hi Steve,
For me, repairing everything under warranty is the choice that should be made. One doesn't know what the future holds. If the bubble grows and you end up replacing the window/glass on your dime, it will cause you to grieve.

When the warranty expires, everything should be to your satisfaction.

Hi Stave,
After warranty, another choice it this product. I just learned of this product. Go to http://www.foggeddoublepanewindow.com/ to read about it. I have never used it and have no opinion of it.

Steve,
We had a seal breakdown in our '05 4502 EXDP. It was replaced in Nappanee while in warranty and had no water leakage issues.

Steve,
I had my drivers window replaced under warranty by my dealer. Same thing, it started as a small foggy spot and grew to the point that I could not see out of it. I have seen another with the same issue. I think the Essex and Mountain Aire share the same glass. No Leaks!
Thanks, Daryl

Next Nappanee visit point it out. You can have specific items annotated in your warranty record that subject to agreed upon conditions the warranty replacement for those specific items will be extended.

If your window is Hehr manufactured, which I assume it is,then you can call Rose Nathan @ 989-845-3061 for customer service and ask her about it.
