Silver leaf AC#1 and AC#2 yellow

At the Tampa show with 30 Amp service
I have floor heaters on using AC#1 and #2
On the Silver leaf panel both #1 and #2 are yellow.
What does the yellow mean?

The yellow on AC#1 and AC#2 under Oasis indicates that both AC elements are enabled but are not currently heating because the Oasis fluid is already at the preprogrammed temperature.

The Oasis (and thus AC#1 and AC#2) have nothing to do with floor heat. The Oasis provides hot water and heat via multiple heat exchanges with blower motors.

I thought Newmar used electric heat for the floor. Entegra uses the hydronic heat for the floor.

You are correct; in current and recent models, at least, floor heat is electric and wall registers are heat transfer from circulating fluid. Then, of course, there's the heat pump units for heating/cooling. They only work for heating when the outside temperature is 40 degrees or higher.

Maybe ... individual Dometic units are typically usable to 35 degree F. outside temp. Mine (2 of 3 available ... 3rd unit off and not needed) were running this morning at 34 degrees with the usual defrost cycles and holding the inside temp at the setpoint of 67 degrees. Mine are Dometic Brisk II units with the newer 10 button CCC2. Unit 1 does a switchover to furnace/hydrohot at about 32 degrees.

Yes, many units will run down into the mid-30s; however, heating efficiency drops significantly when the outside temperature is below 40 degrees, and defrost cycles increase dramatically. I'm not convinced that forcing the units into frequent defrost cycles is all that good for them. YMMV

Our heat pumps are Dometic Penguin 15M units. They work quite well and will also run down into the mid-30s, but when outside temps drop below 40 degrees, we use the floor heat and Oasis. More comfortable, less noise and less stress on the heat pumps, IMHO.

Agreed. Also, the OP mentioned 30 amp service so heatpump(s) are probably not the best option.

The OP does not say what kind of coach nor the year. So we may speculate all we want as to the intent of his question. I would like to clear up a statement that was made. On newer coaches and on mine with SilverLeaf, when the outside temp sensor reaches 40 or degrees and below, the SilverLeaf will switch to Oasis if the heat pumps are designated as primary.

Maybe low voltage on line 1 and line 2 because they are sharing a 30 amp service.

When did Newmar put SilverLeaf in a 2015 DS?
