Single orange wire at the roof

When the solar installation guys were searching for the solar prep wires on the roof, they opened a panel and found a single orange unterminated wire. They didn't say what Guage, whether it was data or power. It was found on the centerline of the rv, a third of the way back from the front. Any idea what that is? They said it wasn't in any wiring diagram they had, but the box outline was really visible on the roof.

No kidding? I have a direct TV dish but they installed it towards the back, right next to the solar prep box. I have no idea why they would not use the box made for that exact purpose. Oh well.

I really appreciate the quick response. Thanks.

Nice. Your dish is up front. Do you get noise going down the road from wind passing through the stowed dish?
