I have a 2004 Dutch Star DP that has developed a problem with the kitchen faucet. It is a single lever B&K faucet with pull out sprayer. After years of use it has developed an inability to freely move between the two sinks and I believe it is due to mineral development. Anyone dealt with this problem and how do you get inside of the faucet and clean it?
Looking forward to some really useful help.

We have calcium build up issues in our sticks and bricks house and faucets, dishwasher, etc.. We simply run a little muratic acid in the dishwasher, washing machine and I soak the shower head in a diluted solution of water and muratic acid. You could use a turkey baster or syringe to put some in the sprayer hose( disconnected of course) then rinse out. Wear eye protection and some rubber gloves with plenty of air circulating. That stuff is real strong but works great

Side to side movement was tight on mine too, ; with the hose pulled out, I sprayed silicone down the stand tube and at the seams in the upright portion, with a rag in the cupboard to catch the drips underneath, work the unit slowly from side to side. Mine freed up considerably , but I still have a tear-down on my honey-do list, because I think this is temporary.
