That little hub cap that we lost on rough roads will cost us $67 to replace. Glad we didn't lose anything else.

Joe, I think that is the Sparton price as I recall when I had to replace one several years ago.
The Hi Hats for the drive and tag are about $120 if memory serves my right.

I just looked, and yeah the drive/tag covers are over $60. The front hub cover is only about $20.

Assuming your Newmar has 22.5" inch wheels and it was the front cap you lost, Flying J has cheap (about $8.00) caps in the Truck section, which can be cut to fit the retainer pattern if necessary. As can be expected, they are not a quality product (Chinese) but I used them on our Alpine and just changed them when they started looking a little rough after a year or so.

We got the part number from Freightliner and hubby called the closest Freightliner dealer to order the hub cap. The order is on hold until we check out prices in other places.

Lost one, went back four days later(about 30 miles) to find the bump we thought we hit and the road had been repaired. Did find the hub cap sitting against a fence with one small scratch.

When I changed from steel to Alcoa wheels I drove over to WheelMaster and they found a front moon that fit just fine, cost was about $10 each as I remember. They couldn't fit the rear as the lugs extended out too far for anything they made.
I ended up using the centers from the old stainless wheel liners AFTER I found out what new covers cost!! Had to find some "chrome" plastic door edge guard to use as a spacer around each cover. Cost me $10 total
Amazing what you can do when you find out the cost of some stuff!

Here's the left front wheel and the right front wheel. The hub cap has the 'Freightliner' name on it.

I've never had that kind of luck!

There were so many bad bumps I wouldn't have known where to start looking.

Head to the chrome shop at most large truck stops with your hubcaps in hand. Your hubcaps, front and rear are likely standard sized hubcaps. You won't get the Spartan/Freightliner logo, but who needs that at 5 times the cost? Perhaps not standard are the newer Spartan "locking" ones.

I buy 5-tab chrome baby moons (front) in chromed stainless steel (yes in stainless steel) for about $8 each and (cheap instant rusting) regular chrome steel for about $2ea. Gently pry the tabs outward very slightly only as needed so they make a solid seating into the wheel.

The high hats on the rear, both tag and drive run about $25/ea, typically happen to have a very small lip on the edge allowing the lug nut covers to help pinch the high hat down. Here, also gently pry the hub mounted "friction tabs" so you actually make scratches in the inside of the high hat. Note, the "short" high hat on some tags is not a standard cap and but the regular high hats fit and look perfect.

I would not silicon either the front or rears in any way. Frankly, no need.

BTW, the lug nut covers are a whopping 80cents or so each as well. Take them in and compare, or go wild with an all new design lug cover. There are some pretty freaky lug nut covers out there.

BTW - Have never lost one of these replacement caps since doing the "tightening the mounting tabs" when I installed them over 70,000 miles ago (and as needed if removed for wheel service).
