I've had one for over seven years and store it just like "Rotten-Red" does. By storing it on the side of the pass thru bay, you can easily access it when needed. No need to move or remove a bunch of stuff to get to it.

I'm 6'2" and pushing about 315. I routinely climb to the third from the top rung to do my windshield. When I use this ladder. I place both feet on the first rung and then wiggle the legs on the other side of the ladder until they're both firmly set. Once this is done, it's very stable.

Got one in my slide through works good but unless on level hard surface a bit too unstable for me. Also if your trying to shuffle your feet around on the same rung you will notice how narrow it is. I also carry one of the new light weight Little Giant ladders in the forward short slide out. Jim E. OKC

We have the 7' two side model and it works great. Our coach has a rear ladder to get on the roof, but the folder is used for everything else around the coach.

[QUOTE=Mark71;4085351]Anyone have experience with this 7' step ladder that folds skinny? Seems like a very convenient-to-store step option for folks who need to carry a ladder on the road

Waste of money. I had one and got rid of it. Flimsy and weak. Too dangerous to work off of. Get something safe...a Little Giant or something similar.

I have one as well, works well. I put end caps on. Drilled a slot for a velcro strap so the ladder doesen't move around in the plastic post while traveling.

I have one too and it comes in handy. To me, the downside is the narrow rungs which get to my feet after any length of time standing on them, but for what I generally use it for, it's OK.

Yes I have one. I love the collapsed size and it has performed just fine for me for maybe 15 years. I used to use it for windshield cleaning on shorter RV's. I will add that since I got the DS that ladder hasn't come out of the basement as it doesn't get me high enough to wash the windshield. A normal 7' step ladder would but this ladder is narrow & I don't feel comfortable using the full work height. Especially since it is rarely used on level ground. I have to use the telescoping ladder now. Unfortunately the telescoping ladder probably weighs 4 times what the 7' weighs.

Are you carrying a ladder to get on the roof of your coach? I was thinking about getting the little giant 22..?

I bought the 6' version at an auction for $32.50. Love the ladder and the price.

I have a little Giant 17 and it is just too heavy, I do think some of the newer ones are lighter

I just ordered the 22 Revolution... I can deal with the weight of it I'm 6'1" 230 I just want the stability that the LG offers if I need to get up on the roof I used a buddy's telescoping ladder and for a guy my size I just did feel safe on it...

I had one and it works well, but not as useful, stable, nor versatile as the little giant.
