Slide Out Damage '16 DS

Our 30ft slide out ~

Not sure how to proceed. Calling newmar and our dealership where it was just in yesterday for normal adjustments... seems to be a link there since we have had zero problems before this and have used it every day.

Good news is, we have a beautiful spot!

Has this happened to anyone??

Newmar was EXTREMELY helpful this morning. Got the slide back in, will have it repaired fully during our next adjustment. Just one of those things, growing pains for the coach. ;-) Going to go enjoy the ocean fog now!

I have a small rub mark on the wallpaper in that area, and it squeaked slightly when moving in or out. Last week, my dealer strengthened the FWS C Channels and made some adjustments using shims to level the floor height, and so far it's quiet and level.Click image for larger version

Interesting. Maybe that is what they will do with ours. We also see now the same thing happened on the other end of the same slide.

Rick @ Newmar walked us through bringing it back in and taking it back out again. Damage is done, he said to use as normal until we get it adjusted at the dealership in a few weeks. So that is the plan.

Thx Jim!
