Slide problem

2010 DSDP 4386. Slide on passenger side, front is having a hard time retracting. When it first starts and has to "come up the hill" it cannot do it on its own unless I lift up on the slide. Once it gets up the incline, it will retract the rest of the way on its own. We are level. Seems to be getting worse over last month. We are in Alaska.

There is a lot of info, on this site, about slide problems. However, the search engine is not easy to work with (at least for me). It may be as simple as turning up the rheostat on the control board. Others will be more specific.

Too many slide variables to give a quick solution.

Assume you are only moving your slides on shore power or with the generator running?

These slide need to be lubed at least one a year. Also make sure you have tightened your four slide motor bolts, if not already tight.

You need to find the controller and increase the pot on it just a little bit to increase the current supply to the motor. Small screwdriver needed to increase in small increments.
If you look at the pictures in this link you will see the small pots, that what you need to adjust.
You need this link for many other problems and answers for you.
