It could also have jumped a cog, which is what my slide did a couple of times. You may be able to see where the paint has been scraped off between the holes in the slide rail. The adjustment is still made at the trantorque bushing.
The trick is to figure out why the slide got out of adjustment and how to fix or avoid the problem going forward. You should check the slide motor bolts, etc. regularly.
I found it easiest to access the trantorque bushing in the propane compartment. I also put witness marks on all the bushings to make sure they weren’t slipping.
I can adjust my slide in 5-10 minutes (or less) but I haven’t had to do it since the underlying problem was fixed.
