Slide threaded guide rod
On my Bay Tar Sport, my front slide may have a problem. I noticed the rubber gasket that is mounted to the coach wall and which surrounds the channel arm was torn. I think that gasket sweeps the arm as it moves in and out. Next I noticed the threaded rod which I understand works as a stop, was loose. It seems disconnected on the coach side (it is secured to the slide outside wall frame via two nuts). I think this rod moving is what tore the rubber gasket. The rear mechanism is ok and the rod there is tight. I heard it might be a sheer pin that let go. I was able to extend and retract the slide.
