I have a Newmar Mountain Aire that has a slide that will not go out. Numerous dealerships have checked and rechecked the circuit boards and the factory has stated that we have problem in the wiring harness. Has anyone else experienced this type of problem, especially with a Newmar product? Any comments would be appreciated.

Butch, welcome to iRV2.

I moved your post here, the Newmar forum.

Why didn't the factory repair the problem?

Hi Butch - welcome aboard. We're glad you found us. What MA do you have? Year, floor plan etc etc.

Welcome Butch to the Newmar forum and irv2.
Which slide and what is the year of your coach.
Your the first I have heard that a slide wouldn't move or just grunt. Its maybe something simple like a loose ground wire or dirty connection. If you know where your control units are unplug the plugs on ckt board and reconnect. Check wiring to motor inside of compartment to make sure your didn't brake a wire to it when loading something in the compartment. If its the bedroom slide do the same and check wiring to motor.
