My MH is a 2007 Kountry Star 3912 with three slideouts. Last weekend when I retracted the slides the passenger side was non-funtctional. No movement and no lady warning me with her caution info. I wiggled the connectors and fruitlessly searched for a blown fuse. Ultimately I swapped the controller with the driver side and the slice retracted. I reswapped both controllers and the the problem still persisted.
Yesterday I was going to remove the controller and see if a retired Electronic engineer could fix or replace the controller. Lo and behold, it was functional again. My owner information provides no help and I would apreciate any information on controller schematics/connector wiring.

My nearest Newmar dealer is 100 miles away and am apprehensive about next outing.

Thanks for any help - Darrel

You may have had a loose plug or a wire in plug with poor connection. May have had oxidation on pins also.
Know of no wiring prints for controller but if there is MFG on controller may find one on Google.
I'd check the wiring plugs and make sure no loose wiring.

Hi,

If you have an intellitec controller you might take a look at this URL to see if this service manual does you any good:

http://www.intellitec.com/PDF/5300719.100.pdf

From what I've read on other forums this controller is usually involved in most problems. If you have automatic lock arms then sooner or later you will have problems.

Good luck,
Howard

This forum is incredible. You have provided exactly the information I wanted. The slide has worked for several cycles now but the uneasy feeling persisted. At least now I am more comfortable in case of trouble. I wonder why the information wasn't in my owner information

Thanks much - Darrel

Darrel, after reading through that PDF by applying 12v + & - to pins 7 & 8 the motor will operate if we have a faulty control unit. Will have to remember for future problems.
Will have to check my controller because its an older unit without slide locks.
