It is good to see a gasser conversation. Less failures and less to talk about? Hummmm.
Even with Bertha, on my first year I forgot the slide lock on the driver side salon slide. They may be MMM ( Mickey Mouse) but they will bend the heck out of the lock bars. Removed and straighted and all is fine now. My neighbors 2005 37 1/2 MA totally ate his drivers seat about the second or third time out and didn't stop until out. Good for a tiny motor. SLOW IS GOOD>

And I thought I was the only one that ate up drivers seats.

my slide needs a new motor !!!

2006 DSDP with 18,000 miles - at the Shop today for change of oils and filters, overdue as I bought unit in June and this had oot been done Some dealers are not Pros

One lock of the kitchen slide did not completely come in (slide would partly tear the rubber) so I asked that this be adjusted which they did, so all is good until we try the sensor a few times after the lock was adjusted and the motor worked at first then starts making sounds !!!!!!!!!!! and nothing moves anymore - We took out the motor, opened it to find that the plastic gear was used up-stripped as they say (totally), not engaging the other metallic gears..........a call to Newmar and this part does not have a gear repair kit - New Motor ordered - once it hits Quebec, taxes, broker fees, Airplane shipping etc. and Customs......$1,000 $C.

Have the members experiences this type of plastic gear problem (motor) ?

Non have mentioned stripped gear but mostly problems with water getting inside and causing problems with metal parts.
Rene, to make it easier on yourself you should start a new thread which can be found at top left of each forum. Just click on it and add your subject matter.
Finding old threads pertaining to your problem is time consuming for you and a new thread will have more up to date info and faster answers for you.
