I had a 2000 Adventurer with the crummy thin mattress on top of the cross connected springs. I slept terrible for several years on it until I found this Air Dream mattress. Never slept better after installation, plus the price was right. The only small problem is that you need to inflate it every night and deflate it in the morning. A small price to pay for a good nights rest.

Sofa Sleeper Replacement Mattress, Air Dream: Air over coil-air spring coil mattress.

Welcome to iRV2.com, emma bird!

We have the "Air Dream" mattress on the Hide-a-Bed in our coach, and like Sammie we really like it. It may not work well with your sofa bed, we had to have a new frame installed to get this mattress (wrong sofa bed was delivered with coach so we had it replaced under warranty). But then again I did not see the difference between the new frame and the old one...

We also bought a regular sofa bed mattresses at our local mattress company "The Original Mattress Factory". Maybe you have a similar retailer in your area.

We just replaced our air dream matress with a sleeper sofa memory foam matress. We are on our second air dream matress and it has a leak. They tend to get cracks in the bladder if you frequently open and close the bed. Our son sleeps on the sleeper sofa when we travel..

I have that terribly thin mattress as originally supplied on my 2001 and my teenagers are starting to complain. It just occurred to me that maybe I could replace it with one of the popular memory foam toppers they sell in many places these days. Any thoughts?
