My 2001 (new to me)dutch star has a small solar panel on the roof. the led on the dash does not light, how do I know if it's working? Is there an on/off switch somewhere. It's parked in good sunlight. Thanks

I have a 99DSDP and you should check a fuse under the dash. Its labeled for solar panel.

This small 15W solar panel puts out 12.48v is probably connected (hard wired) direct to the chassis batteries but does not do a lot. When I have a lot of cloudy days it does not keep up my chassis batteries when in storage.

To check my chassis batteries, I pull the fuse on the solar panel and use voltmeter in cigarette lighter to read volts.
