You could maybe reroute the wires Newmar installed to the batteries or Inverter if it is between where the electric bay is and the batteries and extend it with a J box splice and even incerase the wire size some with the extension wires. In my coach the batteries are up front behind the propane compartment and the inverter is about five feet further back inside the drivers side frame rail. I routed my new solar wiring right past the electric compartment (behind it) along the drivers side frame rail to get it to the location close to the inverter where I put the solar controller. Not sure if your setup with the electric compartment, inverter and batteries is the same.
