There were a lot of Newmar owners at the park we stayed at in Mar in FL.
Many of the owners were dealing w/ North Trail RV - Fort Meyers.

I don't have any personal experience but about to learn as we pick up a new to us 2013 Ventana next week.

Our experience at North Trail wasn't so good. They were about $30k high in their bid. If working on a no trade deal, or early in the winter season you'd probably have a better experience.

We too found North Trail very high on their bid (with no trade involved). They only wanted to come down once we told them we were going with another dealer & then proceeded to trash talk that dealer & advise us we were making a decision we would regret down the road.

I too highly recommend Independence & David Scott. Best deal right from the start, no games.

Welcome to the forum, you have gotten some honest answers to good Newmar dealers members have given, this link has everything for 2018 with some older links in the NEWMAR CORP link for more.
For older coach's check this link for TSB's, brochures, owners guides and you can possibly find a good used coach as many other members have found.
Good luck in your quest for a Newmar.

About a month ago @ Tom Johnson Camping Center - Marion, NC

could not have been better, sales guy was Jim Shurtleff

their mechanics were very sharp, they had to send a few parts because I couldn't wait, they came as promised.

Bought ours at Ansley & Lewis - Duncanville, PA. Great dealership and really knowledgeable about the Newmar products. Sale was no non-sense straight deal without the adding this, adding that .... Agreed upon price was the price.

Service wise they really shine. Every issue I had (not that many) was handled painlessly. Even replaced some laminate flooring that had marks so well you could never find them.

I wouldn't say this if I didn't believe it, but after reading some of the stories about dealers on this forum, I thank god and my lucky stars I have found an honest, reliable, dependable, knowledgeable and friendly dealer.

In case you haven't guessed, I can't say enough good about them.

NIRVC's "family culture" includes each and every customer" and their outstanding level of service cannot be surpassed IMO, just like Cruzer states. They most certainly must employ some of the most experienced and best RV techs. to be found as all are highly knowledgeable and work closely together to resolve any/all issues such that what you get is truly a premier level of service - done right the 1st and every time!

Give them a chance to earn your business if nothing more than to just visit one of their stores/service centers and speak to other coach owners about their experience with NIRVC. See for yourself. I think you'll be pleased with the outcome.

When purchasing our new coach (2017), we shopped from Colorado to N. Carolina, to Florida looking at the same product (make/model) and it was the transparent pricing and level of service we found to exist at NIRVC that made our choice easy. None of the other dealers we visited (and there were many) even came close to the "friendliness and family" we found and continue to enjoy having become their customers. AAA+.

Noteworthy of mention - when purchasing our coach at NIRVC we were invited to stay on site and live in our coach for as long as we desired while having daily access to their service staff to answer questions, show us more on the "how to's" and our orientation to our new coach. That's NIRVC's policy. Doing this also afforded us the opportunity to meet and speak with other NIRVC customers (existing owners) and potential buyers many of which had come from other parts of the country, i.e. PA, OH, MS, OK, AR, TX, NV, etc. to NIRVC-Lewisville to shop for their new coach(s). I'm sure you'll find the same atmosphere and culture at their new locations in GA and AZ.

X3 on NIRVC. Not sure where you are located in the US, but you may want to give them a look see. Since we were buy an Entegra and it was our first RV it was important to find a dealer that would take the time to explain everything during delivery and to do a delivery that was not rushed. NIRVC fit that condition to a TEE and had the best price to boot on the Entegra.

Since you are looking at Newmar and you have the option of factory delivery, this may not be as important to you. But factory delivery comes at a price and IMHO you can forgo that option with delivery by NIRVC

Recently went through the same dealer evaluation process, although not for a Newmar. We bought our first motorhome locally (and wanted to establish a good relationship with the local dealer, etc). What a huge mistake that was! A little older and wiser now from that horrific experience (and I'm being kind here), and our focus changed to simply getting the best purchase deal (with a trade) possible no matter where it was located on the East Coast and surrounding areas.

Here were my experiences with some on your list:

Beckley's Camping Center - Thurmont, MD (I priced a used unit here and the sales guy was so overpriced, I actually asked to speak to someone else. Their firm asking price was $30k ABOVE Nada low retail. Wanted a HUGE amount of cash down and had no interest in a trade. Not even in the ball park).

Buddy Gregg - Knoxville, TN (Priced a new Aspire here. They were also really high in asking price - and not competitive with other peer dealers for the same model)

Dylan's RV Center - Sewell, NJ (This is the horrific experience mentioned above. So many complaints about this place by so many people, I wouldn't know where to even begin.).

McGeorge Rolling Hills - Ashland, VA (Recently became a Camping World. They still have several Newmars sitting on the lot when we passed by there on the way back from Richmond, VA. I didn't hear really great things about them as a dealership, but if they really do need to move those remaining Nemars, might be worth a call if you only purchase from them.).

National Indoor RV - Lawrenceville, GA (Priced an Aspire here too. Seemed like a good place and you can read the mostly good reviews about them on here. They had a bunch of Aspires they were trying to liquidate and their prices were great on those. They did want a pretty good cash down payment though, which I wasn't happy with. They also weren't thrilled about taking a trade, and their numbers reflected that, which ended up offsetting the formerly great purchase price.)

Tom Johnson Camping Center - Concord, NC (This is where we got our current motorhome from, just as they were still transitioning from private ownership over to Camping World. Got a fantastic deal, but we haven't been back for anything else and didn't plan to be).

Another Newmar dealer not on your list is RV One (Buffalo/Albany NY). I'm not a big fan of these guys, but from a purchase perspective, might not hurt to cross-compare, price-wise, to the others you have on your list.

Hope this helps!

We bought our coach from Tom Johnson Marion during the transition to Camping World,
and got a great deal on a new leftover. The sales went good, but the service after was the pits. Most everybody has been replaced since we bought.

Most people were there a long time

We bought our first one from Ansley Rv. No problems. We would definitely do business with them again
