Sony Surround Sound System Option??

What type of equipment is this option? On my current Tiffin coach the Bluray and Surround Sound system is a combo Home Theater in a Box system. Newmar has a separate option for a Bluray player so I am thinking they are two different pieces of equipment. The setup in my Tiffin coach sucks so I bought a soundbar and use it instead. Part of this is the speakers and the other part is the speaker location.

How does the Sony system sound?

I have the Sony surround sound in my DSDP. It is awesome. It has the sound of being in a nice theater. Sometimes with action movies I can feel the coach vibrate.

The sound proofing in my coach is excellant and you can't hear it from the outside unless you have a window open. I even run my dash radio thru it.

What Tony said X2...we have the Sony surround system upgrade in ours, to tell you the truth it sounds better than the one in our house...You won't need a sound bar if you get this option.

Would anyone happen to have a model number or picture of it? Is it a separate receiver from the Bluray player?

Yes it is separate systems, the surround sound box can control the radio, CD, and televisions. Have no way of sending a picture, but it works great.

I have been looking at order forms lately while we make a decision on which model to go with. I do not see a surround system listed under the Audio, Video & Accessories section for the Dutch Stars. Is it only available for higher end models? My husband is an audiophile and this is something he would probably want.

Thanks, good to know! Just wish I could see where to order this option. I do not see it on the form.

w00t!! Well, now that makes sense why I couldn't not find it listed as an option. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
