Welcome wcski to Newmar forum & irv2.
Not much help in the Owners Guide for sound system but it does mention a DVD/VCR SS Receiver that must have its own separate instructions.
If you know the make and model you may find on web if you do not have it.
If you need help with finding it just ask.
Enjoy the forums.

wcski-

My rig is older than yours, but here it goes on my Sony system.

To get the front TV to come through the whole coach, I turn my in-dash radio "on" and select "Aux 1" as the "source" and turn the volume on the "In-dash Sony radio" way up high. Then use the TV remote to fine tune the sound.

To get my XM radio to play in the whole coach, I turn my in-dash radio on and select "Aux 2" and just adjust the volume on the radio to suit. I can then use the "In-dash Sony radio" remote to fine tune the volume. Of course, the XM radio has to be turned on.

That's all I know folks-

I think I have the same system and I have DirecTv..to watch tv thru the sound system, I use an optical cable connected from the satellite receiver to the Sony and use the OPT1 input...works surprisingly well for a cheap sound system!!

I had the same problem, and low and behold there is a switch for the overhead speakers in the monitor/control panel above the entry door.
