Spartan Chassis TSB for 2017-2019 with Hadley Air Level
I was talking with an owner of a 2018 LADP that was having alarms on his Hadley while driving. The alarm said low pressure, out of level. I did some research and found 2 explanations. One is documented in another thread here regarding turning the pressure up to 135psi.
The other I found in the entegra forums, and I am reposting here to make sure all that are affected are aware. This would be a 2017+ MADP, LADP, Essex, and KGDB.

Here's the letter:

A condition may exist where the manifold pole pieces are not being retained in the solenoid c-bracket.
Labor time is 2 hours for incomplete transit bus chassis or 1 hour for motor home chassis models.

We have a 18 London Aire Spartan K3 chassis which had the buzzer and check ride height going on about ever mile and when contacting Spartan they suggested to raise air pressure at governor to 135 psi. That worked for a thousand miles and again the lights and buzzer were going off just as bad as when we contacted Spartan. After contacting Spartan they again recommend to raise the air pressure to 140 and that was 3 thousand miles ago and all is good. Rally like the Hadley air system.

Does the spartan/Hadley combination add an additional ping tank for the quick air adjustments?
I ask because that was a big deal HWH made a point to explain. They upgraded all the air lines to the air bags, and added another tank that was set to 140psi for the sole purpose of quick adjustment to the airbags while driving.
They also added an electric pump for maintaining air level when parked, utilizing the same additional ping tank.

I’m not sure exactly what you mean by ping tank, but we were at Spartan Academy a few weeks back and the classroom had a complete King Aire K3 Chassis on display for training purposes.
There was a small air tank located just ahead of the engine between the rails (high). It was perhaps 10 inches in diameter and 8 inches long.
I asked one of the instructors what this small tank was for and he said supplemental air for the Hadley system.
This is not a very good pic. I took it on the assembly line at Spartan plant. The valve assembly to the left is the Hadley control and you will see the extra air tank (part of it) on the right.

Yes, that is it. Same size approx as my HWH setup. Used for a quick blast of air while driving.

This TSB (apparently, actually a CSB) may explain an issue we are having with our 2018 MADP. We did have the pressure turned up to 135 psi by a Spartan service center, but they also noted hearing a "small air leak" located somewhere in the frame rail area behind the basement refrigerator/freezer. Could this be the result of "manifold pole pieces not being retained in the solenoid c-bracket?"
We were told that the leak was minor and would not affect safety or driveability, but should be taken care of at our next service.
