Spartan vs Freightliner

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I am ordering a new Essex and the question has come up Spartan or Freightliner. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Before you get beat up too badly, there are HUGE threads on this topic...new and old.

I know it’s a pain to do, but you HAVE to use the Forum search tool...reason being, there’s no way you’re going to have another maybe 500 posts come at you within seconds, as you would if you grabbed the already prolific info already posted.

Wow, this will fun!!

Freightliner all the way. !!! Its quality is the same, its warranty can be extended for less the cost to choose spartan, and it is the one I have so it must be the best!!!!

Seriously tho, this is an apples vs apples conversation. Neither are better or worse. This question is one that can spark lots of drama and opinions and facts are hard to come by.

Choose based on delivery schedule or availability and ignore everything else is my suggestion.

Spartan vs Freightliner

Wow, this will be fun!!

Spartan all the way! The warranty is longer, the fan is variable and won’t cause a dust storms, the frame is 3/8” vs. 1/4”, the air dryer filter is easy access, and the Air Force One air braking system is already installed.

Sorry, couldn’t resist.

The cloak mode, or as you call it dust storm, is no longer an option on the 2019 freightliner you have to get one older than 2019 to have that feature.

My 2027 Essex is being built on a Freightliner. Customer support is on par with Newmar. Amazing.

That ticking in the box, what is that? Oh, it's this thread....

You do know that in 2027, Thor will own spartan, and Dometic will own Freightliner, and Amazon will eventually buy both Thor and Dometic right?
