Splendide is not going through cycle, as it has before. It stops in the middle of filling up, spinning each time, and when it is time to spin it dry, the last spin, it stops and then starts spinning again. It does not spin fast at the end, as it did before. When I open door, the clothes are still soaked.
When in drying mode, it will stop and begin procedure of agitating like it does on washer.
Anyone have any idea what may be wrong.

Hi Railroader,
My Splendide 2100 works like your with the exception of the fast spin. Mine does spin fast, getting most of the water out of the clothes before the drying cycle begins.
There is a low spin button on the front of my 2100. If this is like yours, make sure the button is not pushed in. The button should be in the off (or out) position.
A quick way to diagnose the problem, may be to call Westland sales. They are in Elkhart, Indiana. 219-295-8848 is their number. They are sales and service for Splendide.

See if it is throwing a code. Lite blinks. There is a unshielded purple or blue wire going to the dry sensor on top of the drum and if it spins out of balance it has been known to pull lose. Only thing is if it goes to ground when it does it shorts the fuse in the board(325$) repair.

We bought a Eurotech combo a few years back for the stick & brick home. We wanted the space in the laundry room for dog-related things.
We fooled with it for about 3 months before we bagged it and bought a conventional washer dryer. It appeared to me (as a software engineer) that the software looking after the out-of balance forces in the spin cycle was far too picky. The factory techs put 4 different controllers in before admitting defeat.
With the first controllers, which allowed the full 1200 rpm spin, the out-of-balance forces were so bad that wallboard nails in the next room were popping out and pictures falling off the walls.
Later controllers were so wimpy about out of balance forces, the stupid thing could never get past the first spin cycle.
I believe the Splendide is made by the same Italian manufacturer as the Eurotech.

You got it. The wd1000xc still shakes almost as bad as the wd1000. They changed from a DC drive motor to a 3 phase motor. Has a high pitched wine. They have to be on a pretty solid surface, because they are just a trampoline .
Newmar is finally putting in full size washer and driers(220)volt in the back cabinet and whirpool refrigerators. Almost worth trading.
