Spotlight parts available?

HI guys, this is Al, haven't been on in a while, I have a question for you all.

I took the Guest spotlight off my Mountainaire (2002, Spartan chassis) and it was full of wasps nests. The bulb is burned out and the rubber gasket that keeps the water out is disintegrated. I repaired the vertical motor and I wonder if anyone knows if parts are available for this? I looked in a bunch of places with no luck. A brand new one (the whole thing) is about $350.00 which I would rather not buy. Thanks in advance for your help, Al.

Hi Al welcome back.
What is the make of your spot light?
You could try a boat marine shop for parts or rv supply.
Plus you could try the make of your light on there web site for parts if still in business.

007 - He stated it was a "Guest" spotlight, that is the brand. They are prevalent on boats and a Marine retailer such as West Marine will have the parts needed or can order them.

Dave,

Thanks for your reply. I forgot all about West Marine. I will be in Sarasota in November and I will get in touch with them then. Your post was very helpful!

Al

You can get a bulb kit that comes with a new gasket. I just replaced mine. I did not get it from West Marine. If you need the vendor information, I will look it up.
