I was originally going to buy a DSDP, but couldn't find a floorplan I liked. I wanted the old emissions so I had to settle for something on the lot not ordering one. I liked the DS and sure liked the price better than the MA, of course I liked the price of the Ventana even more!
I didn't get a good look at the DA, but it looked like a nice coach and the full wall slide looked very cool. I would rather have a DA than anything from most other brands out there.

No more Kountry Star, but, we now have a Dutch Aire. Does this mean the DADP replaced the KSDP? After all the plain Dutch Star is still in existance,so it must be unchanged, Right?
To tell you the truth my '01 Kountry Star is, I believe, still a better coach than many other new models out there. Still haven't found anything better!

Thanks for rubbing it in. Missed CD by one year, actually 6 months.

The DADP is at the top of the standard line.
The DSDP is now where the KSDP was, price and feature wise approximately, I believe.

Hi John! We owned a 2006 40' DSDP and loved it. Knowing the DSDP line very well, and having just looked at pics of the inside and outside of the new Dutch Aire, all I can say is WOW! The pics I looked at, are of the full wall slide bath and a half. The interior is much more rich looking, great layout. I would change out the lights (as a special) for all Halogens. The outside looks great with the new caps and graphics. It is nicer then the DSDP that it replaces, for the same price point. Mission accomplished by Newmar! Paul

Hi! Well I am suprised that Dirk has not spotted a few changes on the Dutch Aire! It looks like they have changed the way the air and heat gets delivered inside. They also changed the style of Security (scare) light on the outside of the coach, among other things. Paul

I did notice the security lights, but have not studied the pics any closer.
I'll have to scrutinize them.
