Squeeky Slide

Our 2000 DSDP has developed a quite bad squeek/squeel/noise when we extend or retract the slide. It is particularly bad when we are in a dry climate, but is not nearly as noticeable when the humidity is up. I have emptied numerous cans of several types of lubricant on every place I can locate to lube. The sound appears to be coming from under the coach and the part of the mechanism that is not visible. Does anyone have any suggestions for a remedy.
