Have you tried to use the key? Also after you punch in the code i think you push the star or pound.
Good Luck

Enter the 4 digit code and then press pound.

If that doesn't work, you'll need the key to replace the battery.

Once you have the safe open, lock it in the OPEN position. That is what I did, so no one has to rip everything apart and do a lot of damage in case of a break in. To me the safe is totally useless dead weight.

Any Idea on how long the battery in the safe lasts ? I really don't use ours , it's 2.5 yrs old. I'd like to replace it if needed before it's an issue. Thanks

Thanks everyone but we have a Dead battery in the locked position and it appears you can only change the battery with the door opened.

There is a (not so hidden) panel on the front. When we picked up our coach, the keys were in there. Have you looked inside the panel?

If you google it. There was a u tube video on how to pick it with a paper clip. It is a lot easier to do than you would like it. Speaking from experience

We did not have a key as we were not the original owners of our coach. We were able to order a new key through Newmar (StackOn would not sell us one directly because we were not the purchaser of the safe). Once I received the key through Newmar I was able to get a spare made at the local hardware store.

I found the manual and the keys-- manual says the batteries last about a year, so I have another thing to put on my annual maintenance list.
