stain on headlight bezel 08 Canyon Star

We have a 2008 cayon star new to us since march. There are stains on both head light bezel( trim covers) more on the passanger one. There is Didi- shield on the front and on the headlight bezel. The stain in either on or under the didi -shield. Has anyone had or heard of this problem.

Yes, we have it. It looks like mildew. It first appeared during the first year of ownership so we were able to get the Diamond Shield replaced and they repainted it where the shield ripped up the paint. I made sure to keep it very clean and waxed but it has re-appeared. It is under the Diamond Shield and the only way to fix it is to remove the shield.

thanks for the info, do you know what holds on the diamond shield on? , does it just peel off or do you have to use a solvent to remove it. just waxed the rig ,took 2 days. Newmars have great paint jobs,taught shop for 37 years and the painters are real craftmen.
