"Neal C" did the leg work and the first install of the door handle. He bought his from Summit. Later, Red Barron posted that he bought direct from PTL at a better price. Sometimes, when you do something first, you pay a little more. I thank Neal for doing the MOD and Red Barron for finding the best price. Here is the info below.

Part #009-240 for $87.00.

This is for the 2019 door style.

Included 2 sets of keys for both dead bolt and the auto lock.

That looks great Don, the paint definitely enhances it, you should consider adding the trim to the wheel wells

Is that model number is a chrome handle that matches the chrome handle on the baggage doors?

Any DS Don secrets to the installation?
Did you butter the ends with silicone to prevent dirt from getting between the SS and the paint?
Cheers,
Mike

Where did you order the strips from?

My rear paint is almost a dead match to almond Rustoleum, in a can, so I painted the three mesh pieces.

Just painting the mesh, made the coach look nicer. The first picture is just paint. The second photo is with the SS. The photo was taken in my backyard, so there are some reflections and shadows, but you can get an idea of how it looks.

The SS shipped to my house was $209.00

So now I guess I have to order a 19/20 DS so I can install the SS trim

Tom....my coach was a year old this week. I think I spaced the mods out fairly well.

Got 'er done. Thanks for the tips Don.
After looking at the install, I don't see a need to run any silicone. Silicone will just attract dust and make a mess. Took me less than an hour, so I had time to install the chrome front door latch too.
That's enough bling for one day.

Mike.....Glad you left the paper backing hanging in a couple of picks, it gives others a visual versus my word description as to how to work it from the center to the ends.

One of the easier mods for sure Don. I like the darker grill, but I think painting the grill the body color like you did sets off the look of the ss more, don't you?
I'm going to live with it for awhile before I decide if i'm going to paint the grill or not.

I painted it for accouple of reasons. One, I like the matching color. Two, the black paint on the metal mesh was not the best. I did the mod as two separate projects. I painted it one week and installed the SS a week later. I think the color of the coach has some impact on if it should be painted. Mine is a custom order color that is really light, almost white in the sunlight. The black contrasted too much and looked too busy.
