Thanks for the reply, I knew it was something like that. We do not have any suppliers here in the UK.
regards
Simon

Welcome Simon to the Newmar forum & irv2.
I have often wondered how you are able to drive a large Dutch Star around on your highways over in your country must have some tight situations over there.
Enjoy the forums and do post often.

Thanks for the reply, this is the 4th Newmar I have owned. I do love the layout on the 4386. I just wish Newmar was a bit better with backup as they wipe there feet of everything when they come to England. My last coach was a 2009 KS 3910 that I bought new, it broke 2 slide out lock arms a slide-out module and one of the limit switches all in one go, Newmar and the dealer didnt want to know and it was only three months old.
Can someone answer a few questions please.
Has anyone suffered with the chrome pitting on the handle outside the entrance door, the one with the clear perspex in the middle. Is there another make that is better quality.
I want to fit key-less entry, the key pad and wiring is no prob, but where do they fit the electric solenoid, is it in the door going to the lock mechanism.
Are there any upgrades to the Cummins 400hp motor as both of my last 2 coaches have had terrible flat spots at slow speed.
Finally my coach is S/n 0135 is this subject to a fridge recall, if so what does it need a where do I get the parts as it has no warranty with Newmar
Many thanks
Simon Ringham

Simon if you go to the Quick Tips LINK you may find some answers to your questions. Within that link you can find information about your coach and other related info.
Do you have a Newmar dealer in England and have you tried to contact Newmar on their web site to answer some of your questions?
The Newmar Repair Center maybe of help also and if you have a dealer they should be helping also.
I will add in your subject topic, for people to recognize you need more answers.
The recall is not something that needs a warranty its to fix a defect with Norcolds fridge problem.
There are many threads on the Norcold problem within this forum and elsewhere on irv2.
The RV SYSTEMS & APPLIANCES LINK will get you to some of them also.
