On my MH, a 10A fuse controls the steps and the rear view camera.
I have an intermintent problem with this fuse blowing. I can go for several months without blowing and then it will blow. I have tried moving wires, examining wires, etc and the fuse will not blow. Anyone else have this problem or any suggestions? I thought I might try cleaning plug going to step. Thanks ..............

You could have a frayed wire under there, perhaps near the step area, that when in a certain position comes in contact with the chasis(ground) and blows the fuse. Since it happens so rarely I would check for a frayed wire some place.

Tex, if you have traveled anywhere in Texas this winter with salt on the roadways its going to cause numerous problems with your Motor home.
Salt will get into everything plugs to steps, your aluminum lock latches, everything under your coach and just does a mess to things.
You can spray wash but its still there. You will need some contact spray to clean up things electrical, non corrosive spray for locks and re-lube all step pivots points and lube your lock latches.
I have started to clean and lube but steps still bind may have salt in latching system of steps and need to be pulled apart. Any overload of hard working motor can blow fuse because of higher current draw.
You have electrical connections for jacks also that have to be looked at.

After farther investigations, I discovered that this 10A fuse is hooked up to the rear monitor, power mirror, jack alarm and steps. I hate it when a fuse is used for different things. I guess I will check all of this.
Thanks ..................

Now might be a good time to fuse each item individually. It will make finding your problem easier and when it happens again it won't take out the other equipment.
