Step Trim Detaching

G'morning ALL:

Say....the painted face panel on the outside surface of the lower step (when retracted) on our 4502, 08 EX seems to be detaching from the step. Anyone know how this trim panel is originally attached. Quick look makes it seem as if this (26 1/4" x 9 1/2") panel is secured by a strip of some kind of adhesive tape (double faced?..1/2" wide) which is no longer holding.

Is this some kind of special metal bonding double faced tape that Newmar uses or can it be found in a hardware store??

There are all kind of adhesive's Steve, why not get the correct one from Newmar parts you may be able to get at a local store.
