Steps

Our steps on our 2014 MA quit working a month ago clean the contract points on the door started working again. Then today they decided to quit again clean the contracts and still doesn't work right part way out or in

Hi. I just had a similar problem in my Fleetwood and after doing some research found that the steps are from Kwikee and after crawling under and looking at the motor I disconnected the power connector and cleaned it. Plugged back in and it has worked fine since. Just had collected dirt, dust, etc. You can also pretty easily check the ground wire connections from underneath (mine had two, one for the motor and one for the controller). My steps also had two automotive type fuses inside the fuse box (one for the controller and one for the motor). I checked these first to make sure they weren't blown. So if you have this type of step (Kwikee) hopefully this will help.
