Steps

I purchased a new set of steps and need help. My son installed the steps and they are operating in reverse. When you open the door, they go in and when you close the door, they go out.

Perhaps it is as simple as reversing the power leads to the motor.

What brand and model steps do you have?

Have the wrong magnet polarity at bottom of door. I had to call Kwikee to get the right one. Its a 1" circle has two wires inside the door frame. Easy fix once you get the right part.

Steps

I disconnected the door magnets and use the on off switch and works. The only problem with this is , the Key Pad to lock the door, does not work.
